Cardiology explained Euan A Ashley and Josef Niebauer One of the most time-consuming tasks in clinical medicine is seeking the opinion of specialist colleagues. There is a pressure not only to make referrals appropriate, but also to summarize the case in the language of the specialist. Cardiology Explainedis an essential tool in this task. Electrocardiology: Comprehensive Clinical ECG th Edition by Peter W. Macfarlane (Editor), Adriaan van Oosterom (Editor), Michiel Janse (Editor), Paul Kligfield (Editor), John Camm (Editor), Olle Pahlm (Editor) & 3 moreFormat: Paperback.
Bought this book for my Cardiac Technology Post Grad course and as a newcomer to this subject found the book difficult to understand. The first part of the book should be an introduction to ECG in a more simplified format but I found the 12 lead ECG bit confusing, didn't state where on the limbs the leads are placed.
Maybe I need ECG for dummies!!Cited by: 3. out of 5 stars than 'good as new' for well worn corners showing good use and substantial highlighting throughout the book Reviewed in the United States on Octo The edition was correct as described- however I would have described the condition as 'fair' rather than 'good as new' for well worn corners showing good use and /5(9).
Osmosis Electrocardiography Essentials is the textbook companion to Osmosis’ Prime-only video series on how to read an ECG. Containing eight easily-digestible summaries written and reviewed by medical experts, and more than of Osmosis’ trademark whiteboard-style illustrations, it’s a great way to supplement your learning/5(2).

Electrocardiography is the process of producing an electrocardiogram (ECG or EKG).It is a graph of voltage versus time of the electrical activity of the heart using electrodes placed on the skin. These electrodes detect the small electrical changes that are a consequence of cardiac muscle depolarization followed by repolarization during each cardiac cycle (heartbeat).MedlinePlus: Volume 59 Pages (March–April ) Volume 58 Pages (January–February ) — Volumes ; — Volume 51; — Volume The course contains a complete ECG book (spanning over pages), video lectures, tests, and other study tools.
